Based in the Tees Valley, The Junction Foundation is a well respected charity supporting children, young people and families with additional challenges.

The Junction’s vision is of a world where no child, young person or family is left to struggle, and where there is always someone to talk to. To achieve this the charity focusses on five streams of work:

• Children and Young People’s Mental Health
• Emotional Wellbeing, Youth Employment
• Young Carers
• Youth Services
• Specialist Children’s and Young Peoples’ Transport

The Junction has built its reputation through an approach to working with local people that focusses on building trusted relationships and planning towards positive outcomes. In this way, the charity aims to empower children, young people and their families to embrace live with confidence and positiveness.

In order to help drive its continued success, The Junction is seeking to appoint a legal expert to join its Board of Trustees. The ideal person to fill this trusteeship will have knowledge of charity law and governance, company law, contracts and commissioning, as well as expertise in one of those fields.
