The Private Client team at Jacksons Law Firm are seeking an experienced and confident solicitor to join the team based at the company's Stockton office. The role may also include working from Jacksons' Newcastle office. The Private Client team consists of a Head of Department, two solicitors, a paralegal and support staff.

The successful candidate must have strong technical skills with a wide range of private client experience and the ability to manage independently a varied case load covering Wills, Power of Attorney, Court of Protection, Trusts, Estate Planning and Estate Adminitration. Experince of dealing with high net worth individuals, farming and business clients, and taxes would be desirable.

The role requires excellent client care skills and an empathetic approach.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an enthusiasm and confidence for business development and marketing; to be able to take a proactive role in intiatives and opportunities to maintain and grow Jacksons' client base, collaborate with other departments, and develop new relationships with third part referrers.

STEP Qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential.

This role is open to all Private Client solicitors. In seeking candidates with the necessary experince and technical knowledge for the role, Jacksons has given a guideline of at least 5 years PQE but welcome applications from any solicitors who consider they meet the required skills, knowlege and experience for the role.
