Membership of Tees Valley Law Society offers opportunities whether you are a qualified solicitor or other legal professional, or you are in the early stages of training.

In light of the uncertainties in the interpretation of the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and related subsidiary regulations, the Law Society and the City of London Law Society joint working parties have drafted a Q&A that outlines a suggested approach to implementing certain aspects of MAR.

This Q&A represents the joint working parties’ explanation of how, in their view, MAR should apply to certain practical situations, but is subject to review and amendment in the light of practice on the implementation of MAR and to any relevant future UK or EU guidance published in relation to MAR.
