TVLS Elects New President

Tees Valley Law Society's 2017 AGM was held on Wednesday 28 June. Outgoing president Elaine McLaine-Wood updated members on her and the Society's activities over the last year, and thanked TVLS Council and members for their support over her term as president. Elaine's comments can be read in the TVLS Annual Review 2017.

Following Elaine's address, members voted for a new president and senior vice president who will serve until the 2018 AGM. Dermot Winters of Close Thornton was duly elected President of the Society, whilst Christopher Noon of NE Law was elected Senior Vice President of the Society. Latimer Hinks' Nikita Noël was elected Junior Vice President.

Jo-Anne Pugh of BPP Law SchoolMembers also enjoyed a presentation by Jo-Anne Pugh of BPP Law School on apprenticeships and the Apprenticeship Levy.

The evening concluded with light refreshments.
