The Great Legal Bake is less than a week away, and there's still time to get involved. Local firms, chambers, advice agencies, law schools and courts each host their own Bake and raise money for the North East Legal Support Trust (NELST), who support the provision of free legal advice througout the North East.

By hosting your own Bake you will be helping to secure vital funds which make a huge difference to people's lives, reducing debt, poverty and homelessness, and combating discrimination and injustice.

If you wish to enter the Bake then simply complete the short registration form. All materials for holding a successful bake sale will be provided - posters, email footers, bunting, and even special price labels.

Another way of getting involved is to support any Bakes that are going on in your area. For example, Teesside Law Clinic are holding their bake sale on 21 February between 10.30am and 2.00pm, in the Clarendon Building of Teesside University, so if you are in the area and are a little bit peckish why not pop along and choose from the array of savoury and sweet bakes that will be on offer.
