Review of the Legal Services Board and the Office for Legal Complaints
On 24 November the Law Society submitted their response to the MoJ's Review of the Legal Services Board (LSB) and the Office for Legal Complaints (OLC).
In their response the Law Society emphasised the importance of the LSB acting independently from Governmental control. The Society also noted the importance of the LSB focusing on oversight of the frontline regulators, and requiring robust use of impact assessments from all regulators.
