The Law Society Group's Annual Report and Accounts for the previous year were presented at the July meeting of the Law Society Council. Full details can be found here, along with the Law Society's annual business review which highlights their work last year to represent, promote and support members.

Additionally, Council discussed financial plans for next year, targeting a further reduction in the practising certificate fee in order to reflect the Society's continuing drive to secure value for money for its members.

As part of the business planning process for next year and beyond, the Society are taking a fresh look at the purpose of the Society, as well as at its objectives and culture. This will come together in plans for their next financial and business year which begins in November.
