Changing Face Of Legal Sector Revealed
Productivity growth in the legal services sector may double by 2038 due to a growth in automation and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), according to new research conducted by the Law Society of England and Wales.
The research also showed that this increase in productivity could come at the expense of jobs, indicating the possibility of a 20% reduction in employment over the same period. Law Society president, Joe Egan, said of this reduction "we expect this to be offset by escalating demand for legal services".
