Membership of Tees Valley Law Society offers opportunities whether you are a qualified solicitor or other legal professional, or you are in the early stages of training.

Members are offered discounted rates for all of our training events, which are held locally and at the end of the working day to ensure the least disruption to you, your firm and your clients. We hold regular networking and social events where members can come together informally to discuss issues within the profession, but more importantly to share ideas.

Business And Property Courts Forum

Business And Property Courts Forum

Following the launch of the Business and Property Courts in Newcastle, His Honour Judge Kramer would like to set up a Forum which meets regularly to discuss legal topics of interest to the professional community, including accountants, surveyors, engineers, architects, lawyers as well as the business community. It is intended to draw speakers from both professional and commercial life and from academia.

The first meeting, which will be chaired by His Honour Judge Kramer, will take place on 11 June 2018, 5.30pm to 7.00pm, at Northumbria University Law School, and will cover the subject of expert hot tubbing. Details of the meeting, including how to book places, are here.

The meeting will also include some discussion as to the form that the Forum should take. Those who are interested in joining the Committee will be asked to put themselves forward at the meeting.
