Brexit And Intellectual Property
A group of prominent legal and intellectual property organisations have submitted a joint position paper to the government. The group is made up of:
- The Law Society of England and Wales
- The IP Bar Association
- The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys
- The Chartered Institiute of Trade Mark Attorneys
- IP Federation
The joint position paper summarises the key priorities and recommendations for the government to consider in relation to Intellectual Property and Brexit. It has been shared with various government departments including the Ministry of Justice, the Department for Exiting the European Union, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and the UK Intellectual Property Office.
