The Tees Valley JLD hosted its second event on 19th June 2019 at Archers Law in Stockton, following its relaunch last month. The event was a refresher course on the SRA Practice Skills Standards and was presented by Amanda Adeola, a practising family law solicitor, advocate and mentor.

There was a fantastic turnout, with junior lawyers from local firms including Watson Woodhouse, Freers Askew Bunting, Archers Law and The Richmond Partnership.

Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to develop their legal skills in advocacy, case management, legal research, client care and much more. There was an opportunity to network before and after the talk, and junior lawyers enjoyed meeting like-minded legal professionals and listening to Amanda’s personal stories of life practising as a family solicitor and Higher Rights advocate.
